SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Demetrios I Soter, 162-150 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30 mm, 16.66 g, 1 h), Antiochia on the Orontes. Diademed head of Demetrios I to right within laurel wreath. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΔHMHTPIOY Tyche seated left on throne supported by tritoness right, holding scepter in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left; in exergue, monogram of HP. SC 1638.2d. Perfectly centered and well struck in high relief. Light scratch on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
